George Williams, Digital Marketing Strategist

Once a farm kid who studied agriculture at the University of Manitoba, George is an award-winning writer who became fascinated with the new digital world in the late 1990s. He began doing search engine optimization (SEO) while working for a Manitoba telephone company, online retailers, and the Winnipeg Free Press, where he also wrote a regular column.

As the company’s digital marketing consultant since 2009, George has helped Churchill Wild develop and implement a digital marketing strategy that’s positioned the company as an international brand. He employs a wide range of skills — digital marketing, writing, blogging, social media, community management, press releases, e-newsletters, Google Ads, SEO and more.

An avid fisherman, George spends as much time as he can up at his remote cabin north of Winnipeg during the summer. Here, he can clear his mind, swim, fish and recharge from the stress of his day-to-day work.
