Elite travel professionals, operators, and agents seeking luxury experiential travel options were captivated by Churchill Wild’s offerings at the PURE Life Experiences annual show in Morocco this week.

PURE is an exclusive event designed to connect innovators in the luxury travel industry. The event fosters collaboration and emphasizes the importance of travel experiences that positively impact local communities and the environment. With a focus on creating long-lasting connections, PURE unites exhibitors who are passionate about transforming travel through conservation, philanthropy, and authentic experiences.

It wasn’t just luxury that excited the agents and operators. Their clients increasingly demand travel providers with strong conservation and philanthropic practices that give back to the communities they engage with. Churchill Wild fit perfectly.

“I had 120 requests to meet with me and filled all 42 spots we were allocated,” said Jackie Storry, VP of Business Development at Churchill Wild. “We’re having a fantastic time here, with highly productive meetings and new connections from all over the world. There’s a lot of interest in our polar bear walking safaris—they simply aren’t offered anywhere else in the world.”

“It’s also wonderful to meet some of our existing partners face-to-face for the first time,” Jackie added. “Some are clients I signed this year, and meeting them in person really strengthens our relationships. Others are brand new. I met Kylie Gorst (Kyle Gorst Travel Associates) last year at PURE and she has already booked clients with us for next year. Donna Phillips (Donna Phillips Travel) loves adventure and wildlife travel and also wants to work with us. And one of our operators from Brazil had a client on our Arctic Safari. Before meeting me, he asked her for feedback. She told him she saw polar bears, belugas, and northern lights on her trip and that she absolutely loved it.”

Churchill Wild is no stranger to PURE Life Experiences, having been a regular attendee long before Churchill Wild co-founder and owner Mike Reimer won the PURE Life Experiences Award for Contribution to Experiential Travel in 2017.

The prestigious award recognizes individuals whose efforts have directly influenced the development of experiential travel—a true maverick whose commitment, curiosity, and daring have set new standards for the industry. Churchill Wild was also shortlisted for the 2017 PURE Life Experiences Award for Transformational Travel.

“The PURE Awards celebrate those in our community who truly change worlds,” PURE explains on their website. “They showcase extraordinary work and projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible in experiential travel, with awards in four categories: Conservation, Creativity, Community, and Change-Maker. The PURE Awards are about honoring those who tirelessly push boundaries, champion creativity, and use travel to empower communities and protect the planet.”

PURE places immense value on community, which is at the heart of everything they do. Their show brings together a diverse, ever-evolving group of individuals who share knowledge, experience, and fresh perspectives on business challenges. As PURE puts it, “Alone we go fast, but together we go far.”

Everyone who attends PURE is driven by a desire to make their bottom line something bigger—to take action and drive positive change. That’s why PURE offers all its participants the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Moroccans living in local Berber villages. Since 2010, PURE has supported the Moroccan-based charity Education For All (EFA), which provides girls from rural communities with access to secondary education by offering safe lodging near schools where they can live while continuing their studies.

PURE looks for exhibitors who embody the true spirit of travel: those who represent a handcrafted luxury and an attitude that embraces the road less traveled. PURE exhibitors are known for creating unique, intimate, and conscious experiences that challenge perceptions and change worlds. These exhibitors are handpicked for offering innovative, small-scale luxury services that enrich the lives of their guests.

In PURE’s own words, their exhibitors, or “PUREists,” are “cool but with a conscience.” They care about their communities, value local connections, and are accountable for their social and environmental footprints. “They’re off the beaten track—think secluded eco-lodges, remote high-end ranches, and pioneering airships. They’re small pieces of luxury, never more than 100 rooms, and they reflect their surroundings so travelers can fully immerse themselves in the destination.”

Churchill Wild is proud to be a PUREist.
