Home to our Great Ice Bear Adventure, Dymond Lake Ecolodge received the 2017 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor after garnering 51/51 5-Star reviews. Since that time, Dymond Lake Ecolodge has earned an additional 19 5-Star Reviews to bring our total to 70. The Great Ice Bear Adventure takes place in October and November as the polar bears begin their trek back out onto the sea ice for the winter. Dymond Lake Ecolodge has been continually upgraded over the years and we are very thankful to our guests for voicing their appreciation of both the lodge and the polar bears they’ve been able to meet there!

Churchill Wild received the Adventure/Outdoors Award at the 2016 Canadian Tourism Awards. Presented by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), this award recognizes an organization that provides outstanding outdoor adventure tourism experiences; promotes visitor participation and personal challenge; provides outdoor experiences that showcase and promote regional tourism; contributes to, or enhances the Canadian tourism industry; shows a strong commitment to visitor/participant satisfaction and product development; and which fosters an appreciation and enjoyment of Canada’s great outdoors.

Churchill Wild was also a finalist for the 2015 Award of Distinction at the Manitoba Tourism Awards.
Churchill Wild co-founders and owners Mike and Jeanne Reimer, who pioneered the world’s first and only polar bear walking safaris over 20 years ago, were elected to the prestigious Royal Canadian Geographical Society’s (RCGS) College of Fellows in 2015. The husband and wife team from Manitoba, Canada were officially recognized as Fellows at the College of Fellows Annual Dinner, which took place on November 18, 2015 at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa.
