Maintenance Job Ad 2025

Seasonal – 1 Position
Mid July to December 2 with a 2 ½ week break at the end of September
Location – remote fly-in lodge out of Churchill, MB

Churchill Wild is seeking a motivated, service-oriented individual for a seasonal Lodge Maintenance role at Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge in Manitoba.  The position runs from mid-July to December 2, with a 2 ½ week break in September. Key responsibilities include maintaining and repairing vehicles, buildings, and equipment, managing power and water systems, cutting and splitting firewood, and ensuring the lodge runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, including solar power systems, and be physically capable of working in remote, challenging environments. A Canadian Firearms Safety Course and experience with firearms handling are required.

Compensation: Starting at $6,000/month plus generous tips, meals, lodging, and airfare from Winnipeg provided.

Server/Cleaner Job Ad 2025

Churchill Wild is seeking energetic, detail-oriented individuals for seasonal Server/Cleaner roles at our remote wilderness eco-lodges in Manitoba. Server/Cleaners are key members of a three-person hospitality team and rotate weekly through three core areas: service, dishwashing, and cleaning.

Primary responsibilities include setting up and serving three daily guest meals, clearing and washing dishes, cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms (8–10 per day), maintaining common areas, and handling laundry. Additional duties include preparing snacks and beverages, restocking supplies, supporting merchandise sales, and assisting with excursions and kitchen prep.

The ideal candidates are hardworking, adaptable, and thrive in a team-based, fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or food service is an asset, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.

Compensation: Starting at $4,800/month, plus generous tips. Meals, lodging, and airfare from Winnipeg provided.

Baker/Assistant to the Chef

Churchill Wild is looking for an experienced assistant chef with an adventure seeking personality, wanting to experience wildlife at its finest. Requirements include experience in the food industry; assisting in meal prep, baking breads, desserts, cookies, squares as required, presentation and clean-up as well as the necessary ability to work hard, learn new things, be organized and the ability to adapt to changes in the daily plan. Ability to cook from a pre- set menu and from our award winning cookbooks is necessary. Formal culinary training is an asset and remote lodge experience is a strong asset.
