Maintenance Job Ad 2024
Seasonal – 1 Position
Mid July through November (with a two week break)
Location – remote fly-in lodge out of Churchill, MB
Churchill Wild is looking for an adventure seeking individual, well versed in working hard and wanting to experience the wilderness and wildlife at its finest, at one of our remote fly-in lodges outside of Churchill, to be responsible for all things related to maintenance and public works involved in maintaining a self-contained remote lodge.
Requirements include Canadian Firearms Safety Course, PAL Firearms License, First Aid would be an asset, being familiar with operation, service, repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment such as ATV’s, 6 Wheelers and Kubota Tractors, power systems including solar/battery and generators hybrid, water pumps, propane heaters and more, general repair and maintenance, cleaning of equipment, yard work, garbage disposal, and other such task as assigned. Ability to work well within a team environment is a must. Remote lodge experience is considered an asset.
Education, training and/or experience in small motor repairs, motor vehicles, electrical, plumbing, sewer systems, power systems and more.
Starting daily wage is $200/day, plus tips.
Professional Eco guide Job Ad 2024
Seasonal – 2 Position
Location – remote fly-in lodge out of Churchill, MB
Churchill Wild is looking for an experienced Eco Guide with an adventure seeking personality , at one of our remote fly-in lodges outside of Churchill, wanting to experience wildlife at its finest. Requirements include, Polar Bear Guard Training Course (provided on site if necessary), Canadian Firearms Safety Course, Standard First Aid with CPR C (at minimum), as well as the necessary ability to work hard, learn new things, be organized and adapt to changes in the daily plan. Remote lodge experience, and any other guiding and tourism related training and experience is considered an asset.
Starting daily rate for training is $200/day.
