Churchill Wild specializes in ground-level walking tours through the polar bear inhabited regions of Arctic Canada. We own and operate the only permanent ecolodges on the Hudson Bay coast, which is home to the largest and most accessible polar bear population on the planet. We pioneered polar bear walking safaris in 1993 and have been offering up-close polar bear encounters from July through November for over 25 years with a 99% success rate, due to our wildly exclusive locations.

Churchill Wild will be offering 51 departures on 12 different polar bear tours and wildlife walking safaris in 2021-2022 at Seal River Heritage Lodge, Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge and Dymond Lake Ecolodge. Both Seal River Heritage Lodge and Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge are proud members of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World collection, and all three ecolodges are located directly in the path of the polar bears as they wander the coast during the off-ice season.

Our all-inclusive polar bear walking safaris are offered during the summer, fall, and early and late winter and range from 6-15 days, beginning on July 6 and ending on November 18.
